1. A penta triumph

After a hard-fought opening set that saw Sporting lose their advantage, Benfica was stronger than their opponent and won the 3rd game of the National Championship final by 3-1, now one victory away from their fifth championship. The next match is on Wednesday, the 1st, at Pavilhão João Rocha.

Marcel Matz considers it to be “an indisputable victory, at home, playing well, with the support of the public”. The Benfica coach praises the Benfiquistas: “Now we have an away game, we will try to win, but if we can’t win there, we have one more here with the support of our fans.
