WArlo Ancelotti was present, this Monday, at the press conference previewing Bayern Munich-Real Madrid, scheduled for this Tuesday, in the first leg of the Champions League semi-finals, ending up being challenged to respond to the words from Bernardo Silva, who considered the merengues to be… “a strange team”.
“We are not strangers. I think the Real Madrid shirt weighs heavily in this competition [Liga dos Campeões], starting with the story, but I have nothing to respond to Bernardo Silva. He is a fantastic player. Last year they had fun with the qualification. This year it was us. That’s football”, he began by saying, in statements quoted in TO THE.
“Real Madrid is never undervalued in this competition because everyone knows what we can do. We feel respect from everyone”, he added then, before praising Thomas Tuchel.
“I can only say that Tuchel is a great coach, spectacular in strategy, young and with very well-worked teams. I have a lot of affection and respect for him”, he added.
