Borussia Dortmund hosted and beat Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 in the first leg of the 23/24 Champions League semi-finals. In an emotional game, extremely well played and with numerous dangerous moves from both sides, a goal arrived to make the difference, scored by Füllkrug, in the 36th minute.

PSG entered the field with the Portuguese Nuno Mendes and Vitinha at the start, but Dortmund was the most dangerous team in the first 45 minutes. Donnarumma started by postponing the hosts’ goal, which however ended up appearing, when Füllkrug, unmarked by a fantastic pass to the back of the Parisian defense, controlled the ball with enormous class and, alone, beat the Italian goalkeeper to the one who it would be the only goal of the match.

The visitors, however, reacted and came out with everything in the second half, creating numerous very dangerous moves and only by chance did they not reach a draw. In one of these moves, the ball actually hit the Dortmund goalposts twice, but did not go in. Not in this move, not in any other.

The hosts, for their part, also threatened a few times to make it 2-0, but the result ended up not changing any further. Slight advantage for Dortmund for the second leg, next Tuesday, May 7, in Paris, but everything is open in the tie.
