In moments after Bayern Munich’s fall in the ‘mids’ of the Champions League, against Real Madrid (2-1), Thomas Tuchel did not hesitate to ‘destroy’ Szymon Marciniak’s refereeing, with emphasis on the controversial play in stoppage time in which whistled an irregularity before seeing the ball enter the goal, in a move that would have resulted in a draw and subsequent extension if it had been validated.
“A disaster. That move was an absolute disaster. And with Real Madrid’s second goal they let the game continue. The rule is clear and says that the game must continue. “Apology from the referee? We accept it, but now is not the time to apologize. This is not the time to commit two such serious infractions.
