Work underway at the Leonino stadium in another stage of the Alvalade 2.0 project

The renovation of the José Alvalade Stadium continues and inside, after all green chairs were placed last season, it is now the turn of the giant screens to be replaced by new ones.

Work has already started and follows the Alvalade 2.0 project plan.

Meanwhile, Sporting is preparing to be the first club in Portugal to test NFC technology, when fans enter the stadium, during the game, with Chaves, on the weekend of May 18th and 19th, which could be made by bringing any mobile device closer to the turnstiles that supports the technology in question and that is associated with the Gamebox.

«The activation of the technology is automatic, all that is required is for the member to have automatic updates activated on their device», the green and white guys also explain.

A pilot test that will then be launched at the Chaves reception, on the last day, and which allows entry validation to be replaced by traditional tickets or mobile phone QR Codes at all doors at the Alvalade Stadium.
