UA rumor advanced by the Instant Digital page on the Chinese social network Weibo indicates that Apple intends to launch an iPhone with a new type of screen, equipped with a new protective layer that, allegedly, will help make this surface less reflective.
The rumor indicates that Apple has just shared this technology with supplier companies in China, so it is unlikely that it will be ready in time for the next generation of iPhones – scheduled for September.
However, everything is likely to be ready for it to be included in the iPhone 17 in 2025.
