discover Bose’s new solution for listening to music in “open mode”

-

Bose’s Ultra Open Earbuds have just arrived in Portugal and could be the solution that many users want when listening to music. With a design that works almost like an accessory, the new headphones present themselves as a solution for listening to music in “open mode”. Pplware was introduced to this new product, presented today in Portugal, and brings you the highlights of this visibly different, but very interesting and relevant equipment.

A leader in the development and manufacture of audio products and technologies, Bose assumes some irreverence in the development of new products, claiming a focus on “doing things differently”. Furthermore, it argues to design gadgets based on the user's real needs.

Now, and to prove it, it has brought to Portugal the brand's latest innovation, which arrives as a new way for users to listen to music and still be present in the context that surrounds them: the Ultra Open Earbuds.

Looking almost like an accessory, light and comfortable, the Ultra Open Earbuds take on a in-ear shape and thus promise a constant connection with the environment and unique stability. The sound remains private and only the user can hear it.

Without compromising quality, Bose reveals that the new Ultra Open Earbuds have been redesigned to fit adapt comfortably to the ear in the most varied daily activities, solving a problem that is (unfortunately) common in the world of headphones.

When presenting this proposal in Portugal, Guillermo Vazquez from Bose shared some scenarios in which this new “open mode” audio approach could be particularly useful:

  • Listen to content in the office, without losing the “end of the story” of what is happening around you;
  • Keeping children connected with the outside world, while scrolling through social media or listening to music;
  • Walk down the street aware of what is going on around you;
  • For music artists, for example, listen to music while listening to an instrument;
  • Between others.

The Ultra Open Earbuds are different, but very relevant

To make this auditory approach work, Bose developed a technology called OpenAudio, through which it is possible to combine a connection with the surrounding environment and a private sound that only each user can hear.

Despite not completely disconnecting the user from their surroundings, the headphones include one of Bose's latest technologies: immersive audio, which allows you to create an incredibly realistic sound field.

In addition to being ideal for various everyday tasks, the user can pair the Ultra Open Earbuds with Bose smart speakers and soundbars. The aim is to offer a personal TV listening experience with independent volume control.

Available in two colors, black and smoked white, Bose's new Ultra Open Earbuds include a hard case for storing and recharging them, as well as a USB Type-C charging cable.

The earphones are available in Portugal for 379 euros, at the main points of sale.

Soon, Pplware will share the analysis of this promising gadget, as well as more details.
