Apple is in negotiations with Google to incorporate the Gemini conversational digital tool, which works using artificial intelligence (AI) technology, in the next iPhone models, following the example of mobile phone brands such as Samsung and Google itself, which already integrate them into the latest models they have launched.

In addition to improving video editing and speeding up the recording and use of audio videos, the North American company also intends to allow the generation of texts from the analysis of large volumes of information. Although the talks are still at an early stage, Google is not the only company that Apple has contacted.

According to the international press, the company led by Tim Cook, which has not yet publicly confirmed the negotiations, has also met with other providers of generative AI solutions. The company’s general director promised partners and investors that the brand’s next cell phones would incorporate this technology this year. If Apple and Google reach an agreement, they will take another step in the collaborative relationship that the two companies began in 2007. To use Google Maps on different iPhone models, Google pays Apple around €17 billion annually.
