O Galaxy Tab S6 Lite will be relaunched. Yes, again: if you’ve been keeping up with your bills, then you’ve already noticed that the tablet that originally arrived in 2020 will now undergo its third update, after a revised edition comes out in 2022.
Call of Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024 Edition, this new version did not receive any publicity from Samsung – it simply “appeared” in stores in Romania and should arrive in other markets in the coming weeks. This, however, does not mean that the “new” doesn’t have…well…news:
In general, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024 Edition It is almost the same tablet launched in 2020 and 2022, except for an update to the chipset: the new model comes with an “eight-core processor with a capacity between 2.0 GHz and 2.4 GHz”. Samsung did not disclose “which” processor, but some say it is an Exynos 1280 (the 2022 version came with a Snapdragon 732G or 720G, depending on the country).
Previous processors reached 2.3 GHz and 1.8 GHz, so the new model does bring an upgrade – albeit a relatively small one.
This year’s device comes equipped with Android 14 (One UI 6.1) as the operating system, but Samsung maintained the already known RAM and storage parameters (4 GB and 64 GB). An edition with 128 GB of space has been speculated, but has not yet been confirmed, but the tablet comes with an expansion card slot (micro SD).
Other than that, everything is practically the same: the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024 Edition it still has the same battery (7,040 milliampere-hours, or mAh), with no information disclosed on recharge speed (both previous versions were limited to 15 W capacity).
As in previous versions, this one also supports the S-Pen, which should please the digital artists who read us.
Finally, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024 Edition It has Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + 4G LTE versions and comes in two colors: gray and light green (“mint”, if you want to go technical). Naturally, there is no information on price or availability in other markets for now.
