Xiaomi 15 should be the first smartphone with this feature

Qualcomm’s next high-end processor is starting to make waves. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 will only be officially presented in six months, in October, but it seems certain which will be the first smartphone to be launched with it.

Leaker Yogesh Brar used the social network X to say that Xiaomi continues to have the rights to launch the first smartphone with this processor. In other words, we will probably have the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro as the first devices with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4.

Xiaomi 15 should be launched in China in November. Globally only in 2025

Although Xiaomi’s next generation high-end smartphones will only arrive in Portugal in the first quarter of 2025, they will be launched months earlier in China. As in other years, this launch should take place between November and December.

According to the same source, after the Xiaomi 14, the OnePlus 12 and iQOO 13 should be the next smartphones to be launched with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. Remember that, with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, it was the OnePlus 12 and iQOO 12 following the Xiaomi 14.

Xiaomi has held on to this exclusivity of being the first to use a processor that becomes important every year. After all, this is the processor that powers most high-end smartphones and ends up being the standard among them in the Android segment.

There is no official confirmation of what is advanced in this publication on social network X. But taking into account Yogesh Brar’s tradition and history of successes, there is a high probability of confirmation.
