This time Polyphony Digital didn’t release a teaser days before the trailer for the new Gran Turismo 7 update, it went straight to the announcement. The racing game will gain three new cars and traditional minor changes such as new races and scenarios. Scapes.

The car that attracts the most attention is the Škoda Vision Gran Turismo, which marks the Czech brand’s debut in Gran Turismo. This concept is inspired by the 1100 OHC Spyder from 1957, the brand’s first racing car.

The Škoda Vision Gran Turismo reflects the design of the barchetta classic for today’s times, with strong creases and active aerodynamics. The engines are electric, one for each axle, which produce a combined 1,087 hp.

Another debuting brand is Afeela, Sony’s automotive division. The car added in Gran Turismo 7 is the prototype of the sedan that will launch this new manufacturer on the market, already looking like a production model.

This sedan is part of a partnership with Honda, from which Sony Honda Mobility was born. It uses an electric motor for each axle, which produce 488 hp. The production version promises advanced ADAS technologies, but in Gran Turismo 7 the experience will only be in driving.

For those who like real cars with combustion engines, the choice in this update will be the 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS. The most powerful muscle car of the time returned to Gran Turismo, this time more detailed than the old version of the fourth game in the franchise.

This coupe has a 454 cubic inch V8 engine, or 7.4 liters in our standard measurements. The bravest version is digitalized in the game, called the LS6, which produces 455 hp.
