Galaxy S24 FE has supposed model number leaked by operator
New evidence suggests that Samsung is already preparing the Galaxy S24 FE, expected to debut this year as the brand’s next entry-level high-end smartphone focused on value for money. Already mentioned in rumors, the device has now been spotted in the database of EE, one of the United Kingdom’s telephone operators, in a listing that not only contains the model number, important for locating the new feature in future leaks, but also the account number explicitly with the phone name.
In the list of devices offered in the company’s plans, a curious name stands out: Galaxy S24 FE. Expected to be the next member of the FE line, the device is registered with the model number SM-S721U, with the “U” being the indication of regional variant and, in this case, referring to the version that will be sold in Europe.
As expected, the code follows the mold of previous generations — in comparison, the recent Galaxy S23 FE is identified by the number SM-S711U. The discovery of this information is relevant because, with it, it will be possible to detect the moment when the phone is certified by one of the regulatory agencies around the world.

For Brazil, Samsung usually uses the final letter “B”, so we should keep an eye on the SM-S721B. The main adjustment would be in the size of the AMOLED screen, which would drop from 6.4 inches to 6.1 inches, once again placing the FE family on par with the simplest model in the main Galaxy S line.
Other than that, the phone would be internally identified by the codename “R12”, and could only be launched at the end of 2024, or even postponed to the beginning of 2025. The most accepted possibility is a limited launch in some countries this year. year, possibly in October — the same period as the S23 FE’s debut —, with more regions receiving the device next year.
