A Apple has released a new warning regarding charging its iPhones, warning owners of these phones that there are risks if they charge them at night.
As can be seen on the company’s official customer support page, Apple warns that devices should not be charged under pillows, sheets or in a confined space with little ventilation. As the cell phone tends to heat up during the charging process, these conditions can lead to an excessive and potentially dangerous temperature.
“Keep your iPhone, charger and any wireless charger in a cool area when using or charging. Pay special attention if you have any conditions that affect your ability to detect heat against your body.”warns Apple on the official page.
So you know, if you have the habit of charging your iPhone at night and you also have the habit of using it before going to sleep, it’s best to pay attention and abandon one of these two habits in order to stay safe.
