Players are eagerly awaiting Silent Hill 2 Remake, which promises to bring the Konami classic to the new generation of consoles. And the studio behind the project, Bloober Team, is aware of this.
Scheduled for 2024, we still don’t have a concrete release date but the studio seems very confident in the project.
In Bloober Team’s annual report to shareholders, the team expressed its enthusiasm for the long-awaited remake, stating that it is “very confident in the end result” and acknowledged that the success of Silent Hill 2 Remake will be “the most important test” that the studio will face.
“We do not hide this internally or externally – this is the most important test of our actions,” the team said. “We’re not just excited, we’re also very confident about the end result.”
Bloober adds: “In 2023, almost half of our production forces were focused on the currently loudest project in the industry – Silent Hill 2, which we are creating together with our partner, Konami. It is one of the most recognized brands in the games and definitely one of the main ones when it comes to the horror genre.”
