Recently confirmed to debut an improved camera system, the Vivo X100 Ultra, alongside the speculated Vivo X100s, was spotted in a possible official poster found on Chinese network Weibo. The image shows the main aspects of the two devices, highlighting the updated color options with a more sober finish, in addition to the large camera modules with new lens positioning.
Without a defined source, given the wide sharing by different accounts on Weibo, the poster highlights what would be the Vivo X100 Ultra, positioned on the left. The model inherits the visual language of the other devices in the Vivo X100 family, opting for some adjustments to differentiate it from the others.
The most obvious change is in the position of the cameras, which no longer form a kind of “cross” but are repositioned in a square formation. It is possible to notice the inscriptions of Zeiss, a renowned camera manufacturer and long-time partner of Vivo Mobile, and the T* anti-reflective lenses, as well as the name “Ultra” in one of the circles.
The construction in a yellowish silver tone also draws attention, which generated speculation about the possible use of titanium on the sides — rivals such as the Galaxy S24 Ultra, the iPhone 15 Pro Max and the Xiaomi 14 Ultra already use or have versions with titanium metal. greater resistance, so it is plausible that Vivo has followed a similar path with its own “Ultra cell phone”.
Another interesting point to note is the presence of indications of the characteristics of the lenses, which reinforce the high image quality that the device should provide. Apertures from f/1.75 to f/2.67 are mentioned, and focal lengths ranging from 14 mm (ultrawide) to up to 85 mm (periscope telephoto). With this data, it is possible to establish that the optical zoom range should reach something close to 3.4x, taking 25 mm as the average focal length of smartphones’ main cameras.
Still on the poster, in a shade of green/cyan and with a marbled finish reminiscent of the OnePlus 12, the Vivo X100s would be present, a revision of the original Vivo X100 launched in November last year. There is little information about the variant, but it is believed that the biggest news would be the use of the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 Plus processor, a yet to be announced version of the Dimensity 9300 with higher operating frequencies.

Codenamed “Thanos”, the Vivo X100 Ultra has already been called by the brand a “camera that makes calls”, such is the company’s confidence in the device’s photography capabilities. In addition to an expanded partnership with Zeiss and the “BlueImage” image processing system, the top of the line would stand out for bringing the first periscope lens with an unprecedented 200 MP sensor from Samsung, the first of its kind in the world.
Alongside the Vivo X100s, its launch is scheduled for May, after development obstacles have delayed Vivo’s work. Prices and availability remain unknown, but it is expected that the prices will be higher, given the premium positioning of the new products.
