Despite not meeting the measurements of all users, foldable devices gather a mass of fans that motivate new launches. A potential Apple device has been rumored for some time now. In another addition to the fire, an analyst revealed that the Cupertino company will have plans for a 20.3-inch foldable device, to be launched at the end of 2025, and for a foldable iPhone, in 2026.

That Apple should launch a foldable device is unanimous among “whistleblowers”. However, the model of this device is not consensual, having already been pointed out that it would arrive in the form of an iPhone, an iPad and also a MacBook.

According to information seen by 9to5Mac, Apple is accelerating work on a 'foldable'. The report, from Haitong International Securities analyst Jeff Pu, mentions that Apple will begin mass production of a 20.3-inch foldable device in late 2025, followed by a foldable iPhone in late 2026.

Several rumors should culminate in a high-end foldable device

In fact, Ming-Chi Kuo previously reported that Apple would be working on a 20.3-inch foldable MacBook, scheduled for release in 2027. Alongside this, Ross Young also reported on the development of a foldable hybrid device 20-inch, scheduled to launch in 2026 or 2027. Furthermore, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman said that Apple would be “exploring a dual-screen foldable MacBook/iPad hybrid”.

Apple foldable

According to Jeff Pu, supply chain checks now indicate an “increasing visibility” of Apple’s foldables. As shared by the analyst, Apple's foldable would represent a “new line for Apple”, targeting the “high-end market”.

Apple is expected to be exploring the possibility of two screen sizes for the supposed foldable iPhone: 7.9 inches and 8.3 inches.

Once again, we can only wait for news signed by the apple giant, nourishing our curiosity.
