Every year, Apple presents its Pride collection as a way to celebrate the LGBTQIAP+ community and highlight support for organizations that defend, protect and promote advances in equality of sexual orientation, gender, color and race.

For the Pride 2024 campaign, the company announces the launch of a new watchOS watch face and wallpaper for iOS and iPadOS with the colors of the pride flag queeras well as a new bracelet for the Apple Watch.

This year’s difference is the unprecedented possibility of customizing the dial and wallpaper to display “the spectrum of colors that represent the vibrancy and diversity of LGBTQ+ communities.”

The new Pride Edition braided solo loop bracelet “evokes the strength and beauty of LGBTQ+ communities with a vibrant, fluorescent design inspired by multiple pride flags.”

While the shades of pink, light blue and white represent transgender and non-binary people, the colors black and brown symbolize black, Hispanic and Latino communities, in addition to those impacted by HIV or AIDS.

Users will be able to choose different color spectrums to customize their iPhone or iPad wallpaper and Apple Watch face.

In watches, the traced colors of each numeral react in real time to the movement of the wrist based on data from the gyroscope. On iPhone and iPad, the word “Pride” moves dynamically when the user unlocks the device.

Pride Radiance wallpaper and watch face will be released soon with the upcoming watchOS 10.5, iOS 17.5 and iPadOS 17.5 update.

The new braided solo loop bracelet arrives in the United States and Canada on May 22nd for US$99, around R$500. The accessory has no launch or price planned for Brazil.
