Rafael is from Governador Valadares, in the Rio Doce Region, and lives in Belo Horizonte.

The businessman was a franchisee of an aesthetics and slimming network called Magrass. He was a partner in a unit in Betim, in Grande BH, but it was shut down after the footage of the assault against Lenirge was released.

Rafael deleted all profiles on social networks. He was subpoenaed by the Civil Police to testify on Tuesday (20) and did not appear.

According to the institution, the businessman’s lawyer sought out the delegate responsible for the case to ask the client to “give a statement in a reserved manner”.

Deputy Marina Cardoso Nascimento said that the suspect no history of other crimes.

The aggression took place last Friday (16), while Lenirge Alves de Lima, 50, was washing the sidewalk in front of a building in the Lourdes neighborhood, in the Center-South region of BH.

Security camera footage captured the moment the man tried to cross the sidewalk. There was an argument and then the attacker violently took the hose from the woman’s hands and left her soaking wet. Lenirge still fell and got hurt (look above).

Lenirge registered a police report and, this Monday (19), made a criminal representation. The case remains in the Special Criminal Court.
