Kron Gracie is back to UFC. After more than three years without fighting, the Brazilian from the legendary Gracie family already has a date, place and opponent to return to the most famous octagon in the world. According to “MMAJunkie”the athlete will face Charles Jourdain on the card of UFC 288. The event will be held on May 6 in Newark, New Jersey, United States.
After a blistering start at Rizin, Gracie arrived at the UFC in 2019 and made his debut in February, facing Alex Caceres and winning via submission in the first round. However, Kron Gracie ended up taking a leap in quality when he faced veteran Cub Swanson, being dominated and defeated by unanimous decision in October 2019. Since then, the Brazilian has moved away from MMA and has rarely addressed the situation in MMA since then. His return to the Octagon will end a 41-month hiatus from the sport.

In a more complicated situation in the organization, Charles Jourdain needs a victory to guarantee his continuity in the UFC. The featherweight arrived at the event in 2019, having recorded four wins and five losses since then. In his last appearances, the Canadian ended up being beaten in a row by Shane Burgos and Nathaniel Wood, both in 2022.
UFC 288 will feature a bantamweight belt fight between champion Aljamain Sterling and former champion Henry Cejudo. In the co-main event, former lightweight champion Charles Oliveira faces Beneil Dariush. Check out the card for the event so far:
