A soldier from the Agulhas Negras Military Academy (Aman) was injured after falling off his motorcycle in the early hours of this Friday (22) on Via Dutra, in Porto Real (RJ). The accident happened at km 300, at around 1:15 am.
According to the Federal Highway Police, the 20-year-old motorcyclist said he lost control of the vehicle and fell into an unlit construction site.
After the fall, the motorcycle skidded approximately 100 meters from the victim, left the road and fell into an embankment on the side of the highway.
It was the motorcyclist himself who contacted the PRF to ask for help. As he fell in a dark place and was wearing a camouflage uniform, he had to send his location to the police and use his cell phone’s flashlight to signal where he was.
According to the PRF, the victim suffered a fracture in the femur of his left leg, was rescued and taken to the Resende Emergency Hospital.
