Driver suffers accident while returning from his mother’s wake and car gets stuck between wall and tree | Tocantins

A pickup truck was trapped between a tree and the wall of a house after hitting a motorcycle that was parked on a sidewalk. The accident happened on Sunday night (24), on Avenida Siqueira Campos, Setor Novo Planalto, in Colinas do Tocantins, northwest region of the state.

The Military Police (PM) reported that the driver is 26 years old and showed signs of drowsiness and the beginning of a seizure. He was taken to the hospital and treated by the doctor on duty. He had no injuries, but was under observation overnight.

According to the firefighters, a brother reported that the victim was returning from his mother’s wake, was emotionally overwhelmed and had no sleep.

According to the PM, the driver told the military that he was at his mother’s wake and began to feel abdominal cramps. At this moment, he took the vehicle to go to the pharmacy to buy some medicine and on the way he only remembers that he blacked out while driving.

After the accident he remained seated until the medical team arrived.

The driver of the motorcycle that was hit told the police that she had just parked and when she was on the sidewalk, at the door of a church, she saw the truck at high speed hitting the motorcycle, which also ended up hitting another car.

The owner of the house hit by the truck was not there at the time of the incident.

During the service, firefighters opened the hood of the vehicle with the help of a tool and cut the battery cables to prevent a fire, as there was a fuel leak. Technical expertise was called and was on site. Those involved were advised to contact the Civil Police Station to register the incident.
