Reports from the São Paulo Scientific Police say that there was no violence in Livia’s death; young man suffered from rare case
Official reports showed that there was no violence in the young woman’s death Livia Gabriele da Silva Matos19 years old, after a meeting with the football player Dimas Cândido de Oliveira18. The Scientific Police also revealed that the couple did not drink drugs or alcohol.
Livia died on January 30th in the east zone of São Paulo. She had met for the first time with Dimas, who at the time was part of Corinthians’ under-20 category. The two had been talking for three years on social media.
The results of the official reports were published by Fantástico, on TV Globo. The program also showed images of Livia’s arrival at the player’s building, in the Tatuapé neighborhood, East Zone of São Paulo.
Dimas told the police that the two had sexual intercourse using a condom. Then they rested, talked and started a second relationship. During the act, according to him, Livia stopped responding and passed out.
The report shows that there was no fracture or lethal signs of violence in Livia. Furthermore, no sperm from the athlete was found in her body, which confirms that a condom was used during sexual intercourse.
Reports indicate rupture in the rectouterine region
Livia had a 5 cm tear in the rectouterine excavation — the genital region located between the uterus and the rectum. The injury was caused by a “blunt object,” which was not specified.
A specialist interviewed by the report said that she died of hemorrhage and explained the case. He commented that Dimas’ penis may have caused the rupture, but that the case is rare.
“The cause of death was, in fact, an acute hemorrhage with hemorrhagic shock. This can often occur without much pain, and the complaint probably only started with the symptoms of shock: dizziness, tachycardia, loss of consciousness.
