The story revolves around Chris Gardner (Will Smith), a boy who is the father of Christopher (Jaden Smith) and goes through several financial difficulties. After doing everything to keep his marriage healthy, he ends up having to take care of his son alone.
To overcome difficulties, he will try to use his professional skills to get a job. Gardner gets a job at a successful brokerage, but does not receive his salary. Because of this, he is forced to live with his son in train stations after being evicted.
