A 32-year-old man was killed with a stab wound to the chest on Friday night (26/4), in the Marimbá neighborhood, in Betim, in the Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte.
According to the police report, the victim’s wife reported that she was at home, drinking with her husband, when the 41-year-old suspect knocked on the door of the residence and entered. The man, who was also drinking, began to insult the woman’s husband and called him a cuckold.
The victim then punched the suspect, who left the residence, but stated that he would return and threatened the victim with death.
Minutes later, the two met on the street, where they argued again, and the suspect stabbed the victim in the chest. The man fled towards MGC-060 and, to date, has not been found.
The Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) was called, but the victim’s brother put her in the car and headed towards the ambulance, in order to speed up assistance.
The medical team arrived to provide the first treatment, but the victim died shortly after. Forensics and the hearse were called. The case was forwarded to the Civil Police, who will investigate the case.
