1993 Corinthians x Palmeiras – Viola Corinthians imitates a pig
– It’s a great emotion, very rewarding. There is a legacy for the grandchildren, for the children. I think it was a very good attitude on the part of the board to bring us here, at a time like this, and I am very grateful, I have always been very grateful to Corinthians. Everything I have today I owe a lot to Corinthians – said Viola.
– It hasn’t sunk in yet, like I said, I’m grateful. I think that here at Corinthians I received good services. I don’t see myself as a star, but my disposition, determination and willpower were great. This became my brand for the fans and my teammates. Viola on the field was a symbol of war, there was no lost ball. And with the skill I had, I scored several goals here – he concluded.
