Driver was not found after accident
Fernando’s mother claimed that she would take him to the hospital. The woman told the police that she would take her son to a private health unit in the Vila Nova Conceição neighborhood, 14 kilometers from the accident site, to treat “a slight wound in the mouth.” The information is contained in a police report registered with the Civil Police.
PMs claimed they went to the hospital and the driver’s house, but did not find him. Fernando was not admitted to any hospital in the same private network that his mother claimed she would take him to, the PMs informed the Civil Police.
The dynamics of the occurrence will be analyzed, informed the São Paulo Public Security Secretariat. “The Military Police will analyze the dynamics of the incident to identify any errors in operational procedures”, says the note. The agency did not say whether the investigation will be carried out via internal affairs.
