The case of a murder registered in Vera Cruz last Thursday (28), in the Arco Íris neighborhood, is expected to advance in the coming days. In an interview with Portal Arauto this Tuesday morning (2), delegate Lisandra de Castro de Carvalho, head of the Vera Cruz Police Station (DP), confirmed that the defense of the main suspect in the homicide has already made contact with the police .
“We are in the midst of investigations and hope that she will present herself in the next few days. We are receiving contacts from the lawyers she would have sought, so we await their presentation“, explained delegate Lisandra.

The case
Last Thursday (28), Tiago Galvão, 34 years old, was shot dead in Vera Cruz. The case was registered around 7pm, on Rua Carlos Hepp, in the Arco Íris neighborhood, in the Capital das Gincanas. According to the Military Brigade, the victim was hit by five gunshots.
According to authorities, the main suspect in the execution is Tiago’s partner. According to neighbors interviewed by the Herald Portal On the day of the crime, the victim and his wife had been drinking alcoholic beverages since the morning because of a family celebration. The death was confirmed in the courtyard of the victim’s residence by a team from the Fire Department.
