Private Gabriel Fadel, from the PM, was the son of Colonel Milton Fadel, also from the corporation. The 26-year-old young man was found dead in the trunk of the family car this Sunday (31), in Campo Magro, in the Metropolitan Region of Curitiba. At the scene, a shootout was recorded, according to the PM, and the soldier was hit.

One person was found injured in the region, was rescued and is under police escort in the hospital. Another suspect was arrested during investigations on Sunday (31). Thus, so far four suspects have been identified: one remains hospitalized, two are arrested and one died in a confrontation.

According to Civil Police Chief Ivan da Silva, who is investigating the case, soldier Gabriel was of good conduct and that the young police officer possibly went to the location to collect information. The police officer had recently graduated and shared the results of the operations he carried out on social media.

After the young man’s death, the Military Police issued a note about the case:

“The Paraná Military Police regrets the death of Soldier Gabriel Thomaz Feuerstein Fadel and sympathizes with his family and friends. The Corporation is applying its efforts to intelligence work, in collaboration with the Civil Police of Paraná, seeking to elucidate the crime,” he informed.
