A man died in an accident on BR-376, in Ponta Grossa, in Campos Gerais do Paraná, this Monday (1st). The victim was in a vehicle, accompanied by a man and a woman, when the car suffered a mechanical breakdown. The victim would have gotten out of the car to check the problem when he was hit by the truck.
According to the aRede portal, the truck that hit the vehicle with a breakdown was overtaking, near km 469. When he noticed that there was a car stopped in the left lane, the truck driver tried to avoid it. However, the trailer made an ‘L’ and hit the driver of the car, as well as the car.
The victim’s brother, who did not resist, was also outside the vehicle and was rescued in serious condition. The woman, who remained in the car, was unharmed. The truck driver also suffered injuries.
