“PFor the week from April 1st to April 7th, the Efficient Price before taxes is €0.899/l for straight 95 gasoline and €0.902/l for straight diesel. After taxes, the Efficient Price is 1.817 €/l, for simple 95 gasoline, and 1.655 €/l for simple diesel”, reads the report from the Energy Services Regulatory Authority (ERSE) made public this Tuesday- fair.

Therefore, according to ERSE, “the Efficient Price registered an update, compared to last week, of +1.0% for gasoline and -1.3% for diesel”.

“In relation to the previous week, it was found that the average Public Sale Prices announced on the gantries, and reported at the Unified Energy Counter, were 2.1 cent/l above the Efficient Price, that week, in the case of simple 95 gasoline , and 2.1 cent/l, above in the case of simple diesel”, reads the report.

In the same, ERSE explains that “in percentage terms, simple 95 gasoline was advertised on the gantries at 1.2% above the Efficient Price and simple diesel was advertised at 1.2% above the Efficient Price”.

Regarding discounted prices, published by the Directorate-General for Energy and Geology (DGEG), “simple 95 gasoline and simple diesel presented a deviation from the Efficient Price of -1.3% and -3. 1%, respectively”.

In absolute terms, “these estimates are, for simple 95 gasoline, at -2.4 cent/l below, and for simple diesel, at -5.0 cent/l below, the respective Efficient Prices”.

The efficient price is an average weekly price determined by ERSE, which results from the sum of several factors: fuel prices in reference international markets and the respective maritime freight, primary logistics, including in this portion the strategic and security reserves of the System National Petroleum, the additional costs with the incorporation of biofuels and the retail component plus the respective taxes.
