Zeeman, a low-cost chain from the Netherlands, will open a store in Braga.

The brand’s new space, which is already present in Póvoa de Varzim, Matosinhos, Gaia and Porto, will be located at Rua de Caires, number 161.

The opening date of this new store is not yet known, although its address is already on the brand’s website.

In preparation for the opening, the company has already launched job vacancies for various positions, such as store manager or sales facilitator. They can be consulted here.

The Dutch retailer specializes in basic clothing and textiles at low prices, with clothes, for example women’s t-shirts, starting at €3.49.

It also has clothing for men and children, underwear, lingerie, pajamas and home textiles.

Founded in 1967, Zeeman is currently present in eight European countries, with more than 1,300 stores.

It also has an online store.

Several ‘low cost’ open in Minho

As O MINHO has reported, low cost chains have invested heavily in the North of Portugal.

As far as Minho is concerned, the Danish Normal is in Braga and will open soon in Barcelos. The Polish Pepco is also already in Braga and Barcelos. The German Tedi settled in Barcelos and later also arrived in Alto Minho. In turn, the Dutch Action is preparing openings in Guimarães and Barcelos. The German KiK, which operates in the same sector, also opened in Braga.
