It’s no secret that, in recent years, the automotive market has been taken over by SUVs. Currently, the category represents the largest share of sales in Brazil. And although it does not lead the ranking of best sellers, the Fiat Pulse is the cheapest SUV in the country in 2024, with a starting price of R$102,990. Well now, Autosport listed a list of five used SUVs in this price range.

The survey was carried out based on the table Economic Research Institute Foundation (Fipe). In addition, it features models produced between 2013 and 2019.

O Jeep Compass already occupied the place of best-selling SUV in Brazil in 2017 and 2018. And if you have R$102,000 to spend, the Compass Sport 2019 could be a good purchase option. The model is equipped with the 2.0 flex engine that delivers up to 166 hp and 20.5 kgfm of torque, when fueled with ethanol. And the 6-speed automatic transmission.

In terms of consumption, it averages 6.1 km/l with ethanol and 8.8 km/l with gasoline in the city. In the road cycle, the numbers are 7.5 km/l and 10.8 km/l, respectively.

When it comes to the equipment list, the SUV is well equipped. The Compass Sport features stability and traction control, fog lights, rear parking sensor, hill start assistant, start-stop system and on-site key. Digital air conditioning, on-board computer, Bluetooth connection and cell phone screen mirroring are also on the list.

However, if you are looking for a car that is a little more sophisticated, it is possible to buy a 2017 Volvo XC60 in this same price range. The SUV offers a list of equipment that draws attention with items such as rear parking sensors, automatic emergency braking, rear fog lights and hill start assistant, for example.

Other features such as automatic speed control, start-stop system, electric parking brake, multifunctional steering wheel, on-board computer and Bluetooth connection are also on the list.

Under the hood, the 2017 Volvo XC60 draws attention for its performance. After all, the 2.0 gasoline engine that delivers up to 245 hp of maximum power and 35.7 kgfm of torque. The transmission, in turn, is an 8-speed automatic. In terms of consumption, the SUV achieves 8.2 km/l in the city and 10.9 km/l on the highway.

With R$100,000 in hand, it is also possible to buy a BMW X1. Even cheaper, in fact. The 2016 model is available for R$91,259, according to the Fipe table. The X1 is equipped with 2.0 flex engine with 192 hp and 28.5 kgfm of torque, linked to the 8-speed automatic transmission. It should be noted that the fuel option is only gasoline. Thus, the average consumption in the city is 10.4 km/l, while on the highway it is 13.4 km/l.

The BMW SUV comes with LED headlights, hill start assistant, rear parking sensor, digital air conditioning, electric parking brake, headlights with automatic lighting, USB and bluetooth connection, on-board computer, cell phone mirroring, among others. others.

But the premium SUV is a good choice among used vehicles for those looking for performance and a good list of equipment. The model is equipped with the 2.0 TFSI engine with 211 hp of maximum power and 30.6 kgfm of torque, linked to a 7-speed automated transmission. In terms of consumption, there are 8.4 km/l in the city and 10.1 km/l on the highway.

As standard, the SUV from the four-ring brand offers front, side and curtain airbags, as well as fog lights, hill start assistant, rear and front parking sensors, panoramic roof and automatic speed control, for example.

But does not stop there. The model also features Bluetooth connection, height-adjustable driver’s seat, electrically folding mirrors, alloy wheels, on-board computer and Bluetooth connection.

Under the hood, the Range Rover Evoque is equipped with the 2.0 gasoline engine with 240 hp and 34.7 kgfm of torque. The transmission is a 6-speed automatic. Consumption, however, is not one of the highlights and presents lower averages compared to the other models on the list. In the urban cycle, the average is 6.6 km/l in the urban cycle. On the road it rises to 8.6 km/l.
