Five-year-old boy dies in accident on SE-270
A five-year-old boy, identified as Michael, died this Tuesday morning (23), after nine days in the Sergipe Emergency Hospital (Huse), in Aracaju. The information was confirmed by the health unit. He is the fifth fatal victim of a crash between two cars on SE-270, in the municipality of Lagarto, which took place on April 14th.

According to the State Highway Police Battalion (BPRv), witnesses reported to the police that one of the vehicles was traveling towards the city of Salgado, when it lost control, rolled onto the road, and collided sideways with the other car.
One of the drivers abandoned the car and fled. According to the Civil Police, he was identified, gave a statement and was released. The investigation is in the final phase. Information that could help with the investigation can be passed on through the Hotline, at number 181.
