Last month of March telecommunications prices in Portugal increased again, compared to the average of the respective group, in the Consumer Price Index. Compared to the IPC reference group, the increase was 1.1% in the last month, reflecting changes that affected bundled offers and the mobile telephone service. Already in compared to the same month last year, the increase was 6.6%4.3 percentage points more than the price rise in this reference index.
The analysis released this Tuesday by Anacom further shows that the average rate of change in telecommunications prices over the last twelve months was 5%once again above (2.1 percentage points) the rise in the IPC and the highest since December 1996.
Per type of servicesthe fee of average variation in the last twelve months in Portugal was 6.3%, in package offers it’s from 4.1%, in mobile telephone servicesusing Eurostat data.
