Audi announced the opening of orders for the new 100% electric SUV Q6 E-Tron, the brand’s first production model based on the 800V Premium Electric Platform (PPE), the same one used by the electric Porsche Macan, and which represents the next step in premium electric mobility.
The new Audi Q6 E-Tron is available to order in 55 quattro versions, with a price starting at €82,949, while the SQ6 quattro variant starts at €97,818.
The Audi Q6 E-Tron 55 quattro has a power of 387 hp and 855 Nm of torque and is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and reaching a top speed of 210 km/h.
The most powerful SQ6 E-Tron quattro version offers 517 hp, which allows acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and a maximum speed of 230 km/h.
Both versions of Audi’s new premium SUV are equipped with a total capacity 100 kWh battery, which allows for a range of up to 784 km. Benefiting from 800 volt technology and a maximum charging capacity of 270 kW, the battery can recover 255 km in just 10 minutes at an ultra-fast charging station.
The Audi Q6 E-Tron range has a fully connected and digital interior based on the new electronic architecture, marked by the use of three screens, the 11.9” instrument panel, the infotainment system, a 14-inch curved screen, 5” and a third screen placed on the front passenger side with 10.9”, which has technology to prevent the driver from being able to see the images when the vehicle is in motion.
Audi revealed that the infotainment system is based on Android Automotive and includes an application store, which allows the use of third-party applications, such as YouTube and various gaming and shopping platforms, in addition to a digital assistant that is represented by an avatar.
Note also the interaction light bar, as well as a premium Bang & Olufsen audio system with 22 speakers and a spacious cargo compartment, consisting of a 526-liter boot, which can reach 1529 liters with the rear seats folded down. Furthermore, the “frunk” under the hood has a capacity for another 64 liters.
Among the main standard equipment of both versions are elements such as LED Plus headlights, Audi virtual cockpit Plus, ambient lighting, three-zone air conditioning, Audi connect Navigation navigation system, adaptive cruise control, surround assist camera parking and heat pump. The SQ6 version adds elements such as aluminum roof rails, E-Tron sports sounds, electrically adjustable front sports seats and leather and fabric upholstery or sports suspension.
Audi announced that the first deliveries to the national market of the new Audi Q6 E-Tron are scheduled for next July.
