Until the end of yesterday afternoon (24), the man murdered by gunfire in the early hours of Tuesday (23), in Folha 20 (Nova Marabá), remained unidentified in a cold room at the Legal Medical Institute (IML). Little is known so far about the circumstances under which the homicide occurred. The motivation for the crime is still unknown to the authorities.
The reporter was at the scene moments after the incident and spoke with Sergeant Francisco, from the Military Police, who responded to the incident. “So far we have no information about who this person is lying on the ground,” he commented at that time.
The police team was contacted through the Integrated Operations Center (NIOP-190), which received information about a firearm being fired in the region. The sergeant highlighted that the circumstances of the crime were not detailed, nor was the vehicle in which the perpetrator was traveling.

The victim was wearing dark shorts, a shirt tied around his waist and a helmet at the time of death. The IML was called to carry out the investigation and remove the body. Now, the Civil Police Homicide Department must open an investigation to investigate the crime.
