Late this Thursday morning (25) a body was found in a stream in the Santa Cruz neighborhood, in Cascavel. The corpse was in the vicinity of the forested area on Rua Bororós and Mawes, already in a state of decomposition.
According to information, people were passing through the perimeter when they located the body lying in the water. When they got closer they realized that it was a dead person.
At first, the body had already been there for some time, in the middle of bushes, face down.
The Military Police teams were called to isolate the perimeter, also mobilizing the Criminalistics and Homicide Police teams.
It is not yet possible to say what the cause of the man’s death would be, however, it appears to be a homicide, as the body has injuries. The man was shirtless, wearing black shorts and black sneakers.
The body will be taken to the IML morgue to carry out autopsy tests that will identify the cause of death. It is also not possible to say whether the person was killed at the location or the body was dumped at the address.
