The body of ClarinhaThe mysterious patient that remained in a coma for 24 years in a hospital in Vitória (ES), he has not yet been buried, even forty days after his death. He remains in the custody of the Legal Medical Department (DML) of the capital of Espírito Santo, awaiting identification.
According to the Civil Police of Espírito Santo, 12 compatibility tests have been carried out with possible family members since the death, with four of them still without results. The authorities intend to release the body for burial next week.
Tests
According to the Metrópoles portal, of the tests carried out, eight involved comparing fingerprints, resulting in seven negative results and one still in progress. As for the DNA tests, one had a negative result and three are in the process of verification.
During the 24 years of hospitalizationit was not possible to collect fingerprints from Clarinha. Only after his death, experts from Espírito Santo carried out a post-mortem procedure to obtain complete fingerprints, enabling comparisons and examinations.
The Police estimate that the pending analyzes will be completed at the beginning of next week, starting the legal procedures to release the body to the family or, if necessary, to the colonel Jorge Potratz.
