Bloomberg Línea — O Ibovespa (IBOV) advances this Friday (26), amid the feeling of optimism in global markets, which are rising with the help of big techs.

At around 10:30 am (Brasília time), the main index of the Brazilian stock exchange rose 0.84%, to 125,691 points, in a session of gains also for commodities. O dollarin turn, fell 0.54%, to R$5.13.

Strong numbers from companies like Alphabet (GOOGL) and Microsoft (MSFT) boost stock markets this Friday and relieve investors worried about high valuations in the technology sector.

Almost 80% of companies in the S&P 500 index that have already released their results have surpassed analysts’ estimates, according to strategists at JPMorgan (JPM).

The releases continue, with more than 50% of S&P 500 companies scheduled to report their first quarter earnings in the coming days.

On the day’s agenda, the Broad National Consumer Price Index 15 (IPCA-15)considered a preview of official inflation, slowed to 0.21% in April, from 0.78% in March, influenced by the food and beverage sector.

In the USA, the core inflation index most closely monitored by the Federal Reserve (Fed) authorities, the PCE (Personal Spending Index), increased by 0.3% in March.

The result was stable in relation to that presented in February and was in line with what was expected by the financial market. Still, it reinforces that the US economy remains resilient.
