It was also revealed that the company has thousands of employees in Taiwan, including workers from more than 30 foreign countries. In Asian territory, phones, tablets, smartwatches, Pixel wireless headphones, Fitbit wearable devices and Nest smart home devices are developed.

We need to have a complete understanding of these key components to optimize our product performance. Our Tensor SoC not only manages a single component like screen or camera, but gives users an overall ‘smarter’ experience when using products“, explains Peng.

Finally, the vice president of hardware at Google naturally addressed the topic of artificial intelligence, stating that it is indeed an important topic, but that it will not always be a priority in the context.

“Artificial intelligence is not just about generative artificial intelligence. Some services run in the cloud, while others can run on devices. We want to see artificial intelligence spread across all of our products in different scenarios. Our goal is to provide a seamless experience to our users“, concluded Elmer Peng.
