A 34-year-old man was arrested this Friday (26) after failing to comply with a protective measure in favor of his mother and threatening to kill her, in Vila Marcondes, in Presidente Prudente (SP).
The victim, aged 60, informed the military police officers that in January he went to the Presidente Prudente Police Station on duty and requested protective measures against his son, which were granted by the courts.
He also stated that his son knew about the measures and had since moved away, living on the street. However, this Friday, he allegedly went to the victim’s house, where he jumped over the wall and left shortly afterwards.
However, according to the woman, the suspect stopped in front of the property and started insulting her with insults. He also allegedly threatened her with death, saying that he would “rip her neck off” and “if he killed her, she wouldn’t go to the wake.”
The suspect also threw bricks towards the property, hitting the door and walls. He also told his mother to leave the house, as it did not belong to her.
To the police, the victim said he believed his son was under the influence of drugs. He also remained in front of the property for a certain amount of time, where he also threatened the victim’s companion, calling him to fight.
During the incident, the man was found a block away from the scene and, when questioned, denied his mother’s accusations.
In view of the facts found, he was arrested in the act and remained at the disposal of the Court.
According to the Police Report, the suspect already has a criminal history with convictions for robbery and theft.
