Representing the outgoing president, who left the Dragão stadium without making a statement, the vice-president of FC Porto Vítor Baía already admitted the defeat of the list he is part of and congratulated André Villas-Boas on his victory in the elections.

More than 26,500 members exercised their right to vote this Saturday, a number that dwarfs the previous maximum of 10,731, obtained in 1988.

The elections for FC Porto’s governing bodies for the 2024-2028 four-year period were contested by three candidates: List A, by Pinto da Costa, List B, by André Villas-Boas, and List C, led by Nuno Lobo.
