In an interview with Negócios e Antena1 José Theotónio argues that there is still room to raise prices.
After an Easter with poor results, due to last-minute cancellations due to bad weather, Grupo Pestana’s CEO is confident that the summer will be positive. In fact, he even believes that he can surpass the results of 2023, a year that broke records, he said in an interview with Negócios and Antena1.
In this follow-up, considers that there is still room to further increase the price of overnight staysarguing that in a price/quality perspective and in comparison with the offer of other destinations, Portugal still has room to increase costs.
“If we have the possibility of increasing the priceO, I think it was positive. It was positive for the Portuguese economy and, obviously, for companies in the sector”, he highlighted.
