“The situation that affected me the most”

This Sunday, April 28th, was the gala night of the Big Brother 2024. Throughout the program, contestants were confronted with various images from the past week and watched the life curve of Fábio Caçador.

Fábio started by remembering his childhood on a hill in Mourão, in Alentejo. The competitor was born when his parents were very young, his mother was 15 years old and his father was 17, and his grandmother – who died in 2019 – helped them a lot.

“I started school young, I was chubby, I didn’t have that childlike smarts, they beat me. Then in the seventh year I went to school in Amareleja”, the competitor began by recalling.

“There was a guy there who was the bad guy at school and this boy came at me during the game, and I don’t know what happened, I know that it ended with me on top of him hitting him and that It was the turning point of my life. I was the jester and from that moment on I became the bad guy at school, even though I had never hurt anyone”, confessed Fábio.

The accident at age 19

“When I was 19 years old I had a very serious moment when I had a car accident, in which two people died.. I was passing two cars, and the car in front also started and threw me off the road and I, to avoid hitting the trees, went back into the lane, but we all lost track. When I got back to the car, I helped the lady, she was in her seat, and she was hanging by her seat belt. I took her out, the lady fell into my arms, and a firefighter arrived and said I could let go of the lady as she had already passed away. This was probably the situation in my life that affected me the most, regardless of the fact that I was not found guilty in court, but the guilt remained for a long time” recalled Fábio, causing tears from several in the studio, including Catarina Sampaioand in the most watched house in the country.
