The singer and multi-instrumentalist Leozinho Bradock made an emotional farewell to his father, singer Anderson Leonardo, during the pagodeiro’s wake this Sunday (28) at the Jardim da Saudade Cemetery, in Sulacap, in the West Zone of Rio.

I am a human being like any other… We are all flesh and we are in a place in my life that is very unwanted I didn’t want to be here, but this is the end of our cycle. My father passed with great peace. Being around him at that time was surreal, because I’ve never seen a guy leave smiling. . I could see this up close and I’m here with my head held high”, he said.

Leozinho — who has three other siblings on his father’s side (Rafael, Alessa and Alice) — also said that he wants to honor his father’s legacy personally and professionally. “My father left me a desire, a desire… We were always very close professionally. Especially because, because he was the phenomenon that he is, we didn’t have much of an opportunity to be alone as a family. There was always one more. My My father was like a mother’s heart, he always had one more. My father gave me the gift of showing his competence in everything, in general”, he praised.

“He leaves a legacy of great joy. Regardless of anything, or any situation, my father was never sad. So I can’t be sad here now, crying. I have to be smiling, happy, and with my chest open and my head up We are here to follow his legacy and honor my father,” he added.
