Motorcyclist Samara Raphé Camilo, aged 20, died after an accident with a pickup truck on GO-154, near the municipality of Ceres, in the central region of the state. According to the Fire Department, which responded to the incident, Samara collided head-on with a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction.
The accident occurred last Saturday (27). Firefighters reported that Samara was rescued, with injuries to her leg and a fracture in her left arm, and taken to an Emergency Care Unit (UPA), where she received first aid.
The military also reported that, due to the severity of the young woman’s condition, she was transferred to a hospital in Uruaçu, but she could not resist her injuries and died.
The State Highway Police (PRE) was called to respond to the incident. g1 contacted PRE to obtain more information, but received no response until the last update of this report.
Samara’s body was laid to rest in the municipality of Carmo do Rio Verde. The burial took place on Sunday (28).
