A serious traffic accident caused the death of a 19-year-old motorcyclist on the BR-282 in Maravilha, in the west of the state, in the early evening of Sunday (28). The driver of the motorcycle had fallen from the vehicle after leaving the road, according to the Military Fire Department.

The accident happened around 7pm on the Humaitá Line, which connects the interior of Cunha Porã and the city of Pinhalzinho. Upon arriving at the scene, the teams found the victim on the road, in the supine position, already lifeless.
According to firefighters, the young man suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI), loss of brain mass, sinking of the skull, abrasions and an open fracture.
The motorcycle the young man was riding was off the road, on the banks of BR-282. The victim was in the care of the Federal Highway Police (PRF), who were at the scene.
