On Monday morning (29), the driver of the truck that overturned on BR-101, in Morro dos Cavalos, in Palhoça, was found. The information was confirmed by the Military Fire Department. The victim, aged 28, was located by the insurance company.
According to firefighters, the man was suffering from hypothermia and was therefore taken to the Regional Hospital for medical evaluation. In total, nine firefighters responded to the incident to find the driver.
Understand the accident
A serious accident, on Sunday night (28), left a driver missing and three people injured on BR-101, in Morro dos Cavalos, in Palhoça. A trailer fell into a bank approximately 100 meters after colliding with a car.
According to information from the Santa Catarina Military Fire Department (CBMSC), the collision occurred around 10:14 pm, in the south direction of the highway. The victims who were in the car, which was sideways on the central wall of BR-101, received immediate assistance from the Autopista team and the Military Highway Police (PMRv).
Firefighter teams carried out searches and removed packaging from the cargo around the trailer.
Accident closed Morro dos Cavalos
According to the Arteris dealership, the left lane was closed to deal with the incident. At around 10:30 pm, the road was closed, with the left lane opening at around 2:15 am and the right lane at around 4:20 am this Monday (29). The peak congestion was four kilometers.
