Famous ‘golden church’ in Salvador hosts candlelight concert that is a worldwide success

After some presentations in Salvador last year, The candlelight concert Candlelight, which is a worldwide success, returns to the capital of Bahia, now in a new location: the Church and Convent of São Francisco, in Pelourinho. At least six presentations are planned to take place in the new space. Tickets for the show, held in an environment surrounded by thousands of flameless candles, are now being sold on this website. Prices range from R$45 to R$220.

The first presentations of the Monte Cristo String Quartet confirmed in the famous “golden church” in Salvador will be the concert “Coldplay x Imagine Dragons”, which will have sessions at 5pm and 7pm on the day may 12, a Sunday. Then on the day May 19the group will present “Magical Soundtracks”, at 5pm. On the same day, at 7pm, they will present the show “Mozart, the Requiem and Other Works”. In day June 16 two concerts will be presented: “Rock Classics“, at 5pm; It is “Valentine’s Day Special“, at 7pm. Check out the scheduled program for each presentation below.

In 2023, the experiment was carried out at Salvatore House (Rua dos Rodoviários, 888 – Cabula), which frustrated part of the public, as the project traditionally takes place in unique locations in cities that stand out for their historical nature or unique and modern characteristics. The new location, therefore, promises a different spectacle to the public in the capital of Bahia.

Candlelight concerts are a series of intimate music shows created by Fever, a global live entertainment discovery platform, carried out in environments surrounded by thousands of flameless candles, offering no danger.

The Candlelight concert series has already performed in more than 100 cities around the world, including São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Goiânia, New York, London and Paris.
