Preliminary information revealed about the murder of a motorcycle taxi driver in Parintins

The Civil Police provided preliminary information about the crime that killed motorcycle taxi driver Adson Tavares Pinto, 38 years old, on Monday morning. The body will also undergo an autopsy at the Legal Medical Institute.

According to one of the Civil Police investigators in contact with the family, the hypothesis of robbery, robbery followed by death, has not been ruled out.

Another information that should be made official in the next few hours, after examining the victim’s body, is that the crime may have occurred with the use of a bladed weapon.

The victim, according to the Civil Police investigator, died on the side of the Odovaldo Novo road, but he would have been injured in another location, possibly deeper into the forest, in the area close to the well-known Areal.

Images from security cameras on the route leading to the crime scene are already being requested by the investigation. There is still no information about the victim’s cell phone.

The worker’s family and colleagues were outraged by the barbaric crime.
